I. Overview.

MT8365(i350) is an entry-level AIoT chip from MTK. It designed for voice and image recognition applications with built-in quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, by using a 14nm process and operating up to 2GHz. It built-in APU (AI processor) for machine vision and natural language processing and HiFi4 DSP, combined with CMOS image sensor and HEVC encoder that up to 13MP, they could provide the 60fps FHD photography capability, which can support image capture and recognition of face, object, license plate, gesture, and motion, and support applications such as voice activation, sound isolation, and biometric measurement well, making it an ideal platform for AIoT applications.

The solution built with MT8365(i350) supports HD display with touch function and is capable of running rich applications, making it easy to apply in complex environments such as information interaction, vending machines, smart POS, industrial, and medical.

Solution features are as follows.

(1)With powerful CPU and GPU and applying advanced 14nm process manufacturing, the built-in ARM Mali G52 GPU provides powerful performance and offers more diverse product development opportunities through API compatibility capabilities brought by Open GL ES, Open CL and VuIkan.

(2) With built-in dedicated APU and audio DSP, it is a highly integrated Edge AI platform that enables higher performance and power-efficient AI processing in common applications.
